Student Advisor

JOB SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a target-driven Student Advisor to deliver engaging school

presentations, conduct recruitment interviews, and assist prospective students with

the online application process. The role requires a 3-year diploma or bachelor's

degree, a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, and strong communication skills

to convert leads into active campus registrations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Presentation & Expo Targets
• Showcase the benefits of the institution at targeted schools to generate interest and

inquiries.

• Represent the Emeris brand at career expos and stakeholder events while

distributing marketing materials.

• Achieve monthly presentation targets based on school priorities.
• Lead Generation & Database Collection
• Meet monthly targets for collecting school databases to expand the institution's

reach.

• Interview & Application Management
• Make telephonic calls to prospective students to schedule recruitment interviews

and follow up on online applications.

• Follow established scripts to build rapport with students and parents, working to

achieve daily, weekly, and annual interview targets.

• Assist students with the online application process during interviews to secure

immediate applications.

• Drive application acceptance by ensuring pre-registration fees and online

application payments are completed.

• Student Registration
• Support the campus by converting successful applications into official registrations

to meet annual campus registration targets.

• Administration & Reporting
• Maintain accurate daily reports, including call logs, interview booking trackers, and

CRM system updates.

• Ensure interview forms are completed correctly and applications contain valid

supporting documentation as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• 3 Year Diploma / Bachelors Degree (NQF level 7) in Business/ Marketing/
• Public Relations/ Communication field or similar.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with

students, parents and stakeholders.

• The ability to deliver compelling presentations at schools is crucial.
• Friendly, tenacious, and target-driven mindset with exceptional organisational

abilities.

• Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
